Emily supports GPG projects with project coordination, meeting design and facilitation, research, and writing. Key GPG projects include:

  • Planning and grant application support for the Alum Rock Union School District’s California Community Schools Partnership Program 
  • Project management, facilitation, and report development for California’s Universal PreK Mixed Delivery Quality and Access Workgroup 
  • Grant administration, communications, and reporting for California’s Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative School-Linked Partnership and Capacity Grant Program 

Prior to GPG, Emily worked in program evaluation and quality improvement with Contra Costa Health Services, including building contact tracing capacity during the COVID-19 pandemic. Emily has also served as a Communications and Development Manager with a nonprofit anti-hunger organization, and has experience with labor unions and higher education.

Outside of work, Emily enjoys getting caffeinated at local coffee shops, playing board games and video games with her friends, reading, and watching basketball.
