Emily Esteban, MA

Emily brings experience working across sectors with a personal goal of supporting efforts to create a more equitable and just future. Emily supports GPG projects with meeting design and facilitation, research and analysis, and report and proposal writing. Key GPG projects include:

  • Community schools planning for the Alum Rock Union School District
  • Implementation planning for Izzi Early Education

Prior to GPG, Emily worked in program evaluation and quality improvement with Contra Costa Health Services, including work to build contact tracing capacity during the COVID-19 pandemic. Most recently, Emily served as the Communications and Development Manager with a Berkeley-based anti-hunger organization. She has also worked with unions and in higher education.

Outside of work, Emily enjoys getting caffeinated at local coffee shops, playing board games and video games with her friends, hiking, and watching basketball games.
