Carissa supports multiple GPG projects, including the California School-Linked Partnership and Capacity Grant.
Prior to GPG, Carissa worked with education-focused nonprofits in Philadelphia, with experience spanning youth development, program management, strategic planning, data and evaluation, and grant management. She has partnered with schools, volunteers, funders, and community organizations to strengthen programs and expand opportunities for young people.
Outside of work, Carissa is an avid runner and can often be found in the middle of a marathon training cycle. She also enjoys hiking, camping, gardening, discovering new vegan restaurants, and trying out new plant-based recipes at home.
