
Caitlin provides overall leadership to the GPG team and manages complex projects, facilitates collaborative initiatives, and develops successful large-scale grant proposals for GPG clients. Key GPG projects include:
- Facilitation and interest holder engagement for efforts to strengthen recruitment, preparation, and ongoing support for California’s educators, including development of the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing’s strategic plan
- Policy development, planning, and implementation support for California’s Universal Prekindergarten (UPK)
- Facilitation and project management for collaborative initiatives to support behavioral health, including development of Sacramento County’s Student Mental Health and Wellness Plan
- Planning, facilitation, and fund development for multidisciplinary efforts to address domestic violence, human trafficking, and other forms of interpersonal violence at the state and local levels
- Support for collaborative philanthropic initiatives, including the Los Angeles Postsecondary Education Funders Collaborative
- Coordination of additional statewide initiatives focused on California’s public education systems, including the Alternate Pathways to a High School Diploma for Students with Disabilities Workgroup, the state’s successful 2019 Preschool Development Grant Birth Through Five renewal application, Transforming the Workforce for Children Birth through Age 8, and the State Superintendent’s Accountability and Continuous Improvement Task Force
Outside of work, Caitlin enjoys eating her way around the Bay Area with her husband and soaking up every moment with her new son.
