California’s commitment to whole child education is encouraging, but rolling out multiple initiatives to realize it has proven challenging. In response, enterprising education organizations across the state – including school districts, county offices of education and other educational institutions – are developing strategies and tools to build coherence across initiatives and siloes.
In this second set of coherence reports, the Glen Price Group – with support from the Center for Whole Child Education – documents these efforts and provides access to resources that educators can adapt for their own contexts. Our hope is that educators can identify next steps, resources and tools that move their practices and systems towards greater coherence.
