Genaro is passionate about making education more equitable by recognizing the intersections of race and gender within the context of learning. He provides logistical support, research, report development, note taking, and communications support to a range of GPG projects including:

  • California’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) and Alternative Pathways Workgroups
  • The transition of early childhood programs from the California Department of Education to the California Department of Social Services
  • Head Start grant application support for the Unity Council

Outside of work, Genaro likes trying new foods, polaroid photography, doing digital illustration, and following soccer and baseball leagues.
