Beth Meloy, MPP, PhD

Senior Associate

Beth Meloy (she/her) is an early childhood policy and research consultant with extensive experience in policy development and analysis at the state and federal levels, and a deep expertise in child development and early learning program design. Her passion lies in applying research to policy and practice to improve the lives of children and their families.

At GPG, Beth supports the Universal Prekindergarten Mixed Delivery Quality and Access Workgroup. Beth concurrently serves as president of Meloy Child and Family Policy Solutions where she provides applied research, policy analysis and advising, fundraising, communications, strategic partnerships, and project and team management services in the field of early childhood education and development.

Prior to her current roles, Beth worked as in early childhood research leadership at the Learning Policy Institute, as a fellow and then social science analyst within the Policy and Planning Division of the Office of Head Start in the Administration for Children and Families at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and as a Society for Research in Child Development Congressional Fellow in the U.S. Senate for then Senator Al Franken (D-Minnesota).

When she isn’t working, Beth enjoys being active and living life outdoors (hiking, running, cycling and swimming). Beth is also an avid weight lifter and self-proclaimed Little League fanatic cheering on her two young sons.
