Megan NobleSupport Associate
Megan is passionate about enriching programs for children and youth, particularly those focused on early education and expanded learning (afterschool and summer programs). Megan is a recent UC Berkeley graduate where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature and a minor in Creative Writing with a non-fiction concentration. Prior to joining GPG, Megan worked for eight years for The City of El Cerrito in the Aquatics Division where she performed a variety of roles: teaching swim lessons, training and evaluating swim aides and instructors, researching and coordinating summer camp activities and transportation, and supervising the swim lessons program. Megan has also tutored elementary school students in both mathematical reasoning and language arts development. While at UC Berkeley, she participated in a student-run organization called the SAGE Mentorship which coupled Berkeley students with elementary students to connect and learn from one another on a multiplicity of levels.
In her role as a GPG Support Associate, Megan assists in grant application development, conducts research, and provides editing support on numerous projects and papers.
- Support for the California AfterSchool Network’s Whole Child Health and Wellness cross-sector initiative, including data collection and management.
- Research and content support on grants to multiple state agencies.
