Elena Peifer

Associate, Glen Price Group – El Cerrito, CA: December 2008 - Present; Elena oversees much of the communication between clients and the Glen Price Group, including preparing project proposals, bids, and invoices. She also assumes significant responsibility for the preparation and editing of presentations, training materials and proposals. Her experience working with the San Diego Family Justice Center serves her well in contributing to the ongoing involvement of the Glen Price Group with Family Justice Centers throughout California.

Domestic Abuse Self Help Intern, Neighborhood Legal Services – Pomona, CA: September 2007 – May 2008; Assisted litigants in filling out and filing Restraining Order paperwork in conjunction with attorneys.; Assisted in on-going research of judicial tendencies by cataloging rulings on individual cases into quantifiable categories for analysis of trends.

Intern, Center on Policy Initiatives – San Diego, CA: Summer 2007; Interviewed city workers to research the efficacy of the San Diego Living Wage Ordinance.; Attended budget and fundraising meetings and summarized and reported on strategies discussed.

Case Manager Intern, San Diego Family Justice Center – San Diego, CA: Summer 2007; Interviewed new clients to determine relevant services including, but not limited to, forensic exams, immigration advice, counseling, and Temporary Restraining Orders.
