Glen Price brings over 30 years of expertise in highly successful strategic planning, high–performance programming, and fund development experience for a wide range of local, state, national, private sector, and international clients. Price has been the principal team leader for efforts that have raised over $1 billion dollars for the capital, program, and strategic planning needs of public and private agencies. Since he founded the Glen Price Group in 2001, Price has worked extensively with numerous non–profit organizations, government agencies, and collaborative initiatives including the American Red Cross, County of Sonoma, Alameda County Family Justice Center, City of Richmond, United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, World Wildlife Fund, and others. Price is a skilled team leader, presenter, facilitator, trainer, and writer.
Chris Sorensen has worked in the non-profit and public sectors for nearly 30 years. She has experience in management, fundraising, community organizing, advocacy, strategic planning, and organizational development. As a principal with the Glen Price Group, she assists with identifying potential grant funding opportunities, drafting and writing proposals, and developing campaign plans. Sorensen has provided key contributions to the fundraising campaigns for the Tolay Lake Regional Park, Alameda County Family Justice Center, and the Valley of the Moon Children’s Home.
Christopher Szecsey builds on over thirty years of national and international consulting to provide GPG with outstanding facilitation, training, strategic planning, and technical assistance skills. Szecsey was one of the principal architects of GPG’s highly rated professional development program for the County of Sonoma and the Strategic Implementation Planning work for the Alameda County Family Justice Center.
Steve Schultz has over 25 years of experience working at the interface between the non-profit sector and higher education and in a variety of development activities affecting the public sector. He is skilled in all phases of grant proposal development, including assessing potential funding opportunities, program conceptualization, partnership development, and proposal writing, and has extensive experience in facilitating community decision-making processes. Schultz has developed funding proposals for local government, community-based organizations, and higher education, and is currently the primary GPG staff member responsible for work with the City of Richmond.
Suzanne Valdivia has worked with KTVU Television, Children’s Hospital Oakland, and the YMCA of the East Bay. Her excellent writing, copyediting, project management, and research skills will be integral in the execution of all projects undertaken by GPG.
In addition to her responsibilities in researching and writing key grant proposal segments, Elena oversees much of the communication between clients and the Glen Price Group, including invoicing and preparing project bids. She assists with the preparation of presentations, trainings and proposals. Her experience working with the San Diego Family Justice Center serves her well in her involvement with the ongoing involvement of the Glen Price Group with Family Justice Centers throughout California. Elena also brings to GPG significant experience working with a range of non-profit organizations.
In his role as a Glen Price Group Associate, Aaron utilizes his technology skills, ensuring that clients and partners can communicate effectively via internet/website project sites. He contributes writing and researching expertise to numerous proposals and produces graphics for documents, trainings and presentations. He also acts as a liaison between clients and GPG team members, and maintains the GPG website and related content.
Ben manages all GPG IT systems including the GPG website, where essential services are provided to clients, and the internal GPG networks. Skilled in multiple platforms, web design, and database design and operations, Ubois uses his outstanding talent to ensure that GPG systems are always up and running.
