Caitlin (Lawrence-Toombs) Vaccarezza is responsible for effective strategic planning, partnership development, and proposal development processes with an emphasis on convening multiple organizations, often across sectors. She supports planning and resource generation efforts of multiple Family Justice Centers. She coordinates successful statewide initiatives in the public education sector in California, including several education task forces. She is experienced in developing and supporting large-scale grant proposals to local, state, and federal public agencies, as well as private foundations. Caitlin manages operations at GPG and provides direction for a variety of GPG projects.
- Coordination and facilitation support for the collaborative development and implementation of Transforming the Workforce for Children Birth Through Age 8: Implementation Plan for the State of California.
- Research and facilitation for the Human Exploitation And Trafficking (H.E.A.T.) Institute, a project of the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office.
- Coordination, research, and document development for statewide education task forces including those that developed A Blueprint for Great Schools (2011), Greatness by Design (2012), A Blueprint for Environmental Literacy (2015), and A Blueprint for Great Schools Version 2.0 (2015).
- Comprehensive support for the development of successful grant applications to foundation, state, and federal funders in the areas of education, criminal justice, and health and human services. See the fund development results page for details.
