Angela provides research assistance and organizational, logistical, planning, and general project support on a range of GPG projects. Prior to GPG, Angela interned at a public opinion research firm that specialized in progressive policy issues, providing research support for the entire report process. She also interned at a non-profit organization that works to increase participatory budgeting processes in North America, assisting with planning and coordinating their annual conference as well as with research and administrative tasks.

  • Coordination and event planning for the California Labor Management Initiative, including on-site coordination, documentation, and meeting follow-up for the initiative’s convenings, including the spring 2016 regional convenings and 2017 Summer Institute.
  • Scheduling, transcription, and initial theming of stakeholder interviews and clean-up and analysis of online internal and external stakeholder survey results for ConnectEd’s strategic planning process, the Alameda County Family Justice Center’s DVRR sustainability planning process, and for the Early Learning Collaborative’s (ELC) transition to a Quality Learning Community (QLC) discovery work.
  • Proposal development document formatting and general support, including background document research, developing organizational charts and other graphics, researching data needs, and organizing and compiling application documents for submission for various clients, which have included the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office, Contra Costa County, and the Family Justice Center Sonoma County.
