“In late 2004, the Oakland Private Industry Council (PIC) was facing a tremendous challenge. Two contracts, representing over $3 million dollars in revenue to our organization were precipitously put out to bid. We contracted with the Glen Price Group (GPG) to help us with not only the production of the two proposals, but in rethinking several of our approaches to this work. Their team did an outstanding job – the proposals came through the competitive process vying with submissions from several private sector firms as the top rated applications. We subsequently contracted with them to engage in a process of “strategic implementation planning.” We are now approaching the future with solid funding, renewed optimism, and a strong plan for realizing some very significant outcomes for our community.”
