Sonoma County Family Justice Center receives $400,000 from the Office of Violence Against Women

The Office of Violence Against Women (OVW) recently awarded $400,000 to Sonoma County through its Grants to Encourage Arrest Policies Program. The grant will support the on-going development and implementation of a Sonoma County Family Justice Center (SCFJC). The primary focus of the SCFJC is to provide victims of domestic violence with comprehensive and culturally competent law enforcement, health, and victims services at a single location.

In addition to this grant, the SCFJC has received a $300,000 grant from The California Endowment and a $500,000 contribution from an anonymous individual donor. The SCFJC has also been selected as a participating site for the California Family Justice Initiative to aid in the development of best practices and model protocols, and to provide consistent, documentable service delivery. The Glen Price Group is pleased to have contributed to the development of the successfully funded OVW and California Endowment proposals and to continue our work with  Sonoma County Family Justice Center stakeholders in their strategic planning process and on future development opportunities.
