North Vallejo Health Collaborative Takes Critical Step Forward

A diverse group of partners including parents, community members, the Vallejo City Unified School District, County Agencies, First 5 Solano, the United Way, Fighting Back Partnership and others celebrated a significant milestone in their effort to establish a school-based health center at Elsa Widenmann  Elementary School in North Vallejo and engage in broad-based efforts to improve conditions facing children and families in the community. In late October, the partners received approval from the California Department of Education for the operational phase of their $450,000 Healthy Start grant. The Glen Price Group was delighted to assist this collaborative with strategic planning and funding proposal development services.
