Over the past 20 years, West County Community Services (WCCS) in Sonoma County, California, has grown from a small volunteer switchboard to a highly professional organization that offers the community a wide variety of high-quality and much-needed programs. Building on this strong foundation, board members, volunteers, and staff are now engaging in a strategic planning process in order to determine how best to serve their community in the future. And we are very pleased to announce that they have asked the Glen Price Group (GPG) to assist with this work. Key GPG activities will include: the organization and support of a Planning Task Force; designing and administering two web-based assessment surveys to gather information – one for community stakeholders and another for the board and staff; the design and facilitation of participatory, stakeholder planning events; and providing support in the formulation of a 3-year Strategic Plan and a Year One Implementation Plan. The Glen Price Group is delighted to lend a hand as West County Community Services moves to an even brighter future.
