City of Richmond Receives Safe Routes to Transit Funding
The City of Richmond, California, in partnership with the City of El Cerrito, has been awarded a $200,000 Safe Routes to Transit planning grant through the Metropolitan Transit Commission to support the design of a connector that will join several critical greenways together. One of the major benefits of the project will be safe and convenient access for thousands of pedestrians and bicyclists to a regional transit hub.
