Glide Youthbuild: Congratulations Glide Youthbuild! San Francisco’s Glide Foundation has been awarded $400,000 in Housing and Urban Development funds to support Glide’s Youthbuild Program. This program, conducted in partnership with public and private San Francisco businesses and organizations, will provide eligible youth from the Tenderloin, Bayview/Hunter’s Point and the Mission the opportunity to gain hands-on construction skills which they will apply in rehabbing 10 existing housing units.  At the same time, participating young adults will gain valuable academic and life skills. GPG was proud to assist Glide’s Training and Employment Services with this excellent proposal.

Alameda County Family Justice Center: Welcome aboard Alameda County Family Justice Center! GPG is pleased to announce a new partnership with the Alameda County Family Justice Center, an innovative project to establish a comprehensive, one-stop center for victims of domestic violence. We will work with the ACFJC to develop a strategic implementation plan, a fund development plan, and help to monitor/assess progress toward the partnership’s goals. Formation of the ACFJC was spearheaded by the Alameda County District Attorney’s office and they were one of fifteen recipients of a Family Justice Center grant from the Department of Justice.
