Successful grant programs in the news. The Bay Area Council’s successful application to the Department of Labor (see below) has received extensive press coverage. See the story in the San Francisco Chronicle. Last year, a coalition led by the City of Richmond’s Kids First! program successfully competed for one of ten of the state of California’s 21st Century Community Learning Center grants for high schools with the assistance of the Glen Price Group supported by the Bay Area Partnership.
