We are delighted to welcome two new clients to the Glen Price Group family: the Glide Foundation in San Francisco and Hoover Elementary School in West Oakland. For over forty years, the Glide Foundation has been working in San Francisco with the disenfranchised (see: www.glide.org). The Glen Price Group will be working with Glide’s Training and Employment Services Department, helping to strengthen the funding base for programs building self-sufficiency for Glide clients. On the other side of the San Francisco Bay, the Glen Price Group has initiated work with the Hoover Elementary School’s Healthy Start Collaborative, helping to build sustainability for this tremendously successful program. Welcome Aboard!
Congratulations to EASTBAY Works for receiving a National Emergency Grant to help displaced high-tech workers obtain new jobs. National Emergency Grants are offered by the Department of Labor to states, local boards, and other entities when federal formula funds are not sufficient to meet the needs of displaced workers.
